We were thrilled to welcome author Elise Broach to Central last week! Students had an amazing opportunity to hear about her writing process, ask questions, and connect with the author behind this year’s One Book, One School selection. 📚
A huge thank you to our incredible PTO for sponsoring our One Book, One School program and helping make this special experience possible for our students. We appreciate your continued support in building a love of reading and learning! ✨

We’ve had a great start to our One School, One Book reading event! Last week, when students visited the library, they tried to make something new from scribbles. Students were so creative and had many good ideas! In Trouble at School for Marvin & James, the art teacher, Mr. Chang says if you do something wrong when you’re making a picture, it isn’t really wrong because it leads the way to something new.
All Kindergarten through 4th grade students will bring home a copy of Trouble at School for Marvin & James on Thursday, April 23rd along with an autographed bookmark from the author, Elise Broach.
We would like to thank our PTO for providing the funds for this awesome reading event!
