Central Primary School has had a blast celebrating the holiday season! 🎄✨From festive holiday parties to our joyful sing-along, our halls have been filled with laughter, music, and lots of smiles. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping make these moments so special. We loved celebrating together and making memories to wrap up the year!

After 13.5 years of dedicated service to CPS, our wonderful secretary, Mrs. Sikkema, is retiring tomorrow! She has been the heart of our front office. She is always welcoming, incredibly organized, and ready to help students, families, and staff with a smile.

Mrs. Sikkema’s commitment, kindness, and care have made a lasting impact on our school community, and she will truly be missed. We are so grateful for all she has done for CPS and wish her the very best in this next chapter.

Please join us in thanking Mrs. Sikkema and wishing her a happy retirement! 💐

What an amazing night! Last Thursday, our Creative Coders Robotics Team hosted their robot-building and coding showcase, and wow—these kids crushed it! Their hard work, creativity, and teamwork were on full display.

Congrats, Creative Coders! 🎉 And thank you to the WCHS Mechanical Monarchy for the special visit and inspiration!

We are excited to share that CPS students will be participating in a Holiday Sing-Along on Friday, December 19 at 9:00 AM.

What a season! 🎉
Congratulations to our 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team for earning 2nd Place at State last Thursday and completing an incredible undefeated regular season! Your grit, hustle, and heart made this a season to remember. We couldn’t be prouder— Go Trojans!

Our 6th graders are stepping up as leaders and role models by spending part of their indoor recess helping our kindergarten students! What a wonderful example of leadership, kindness, and community at Central!

Our fourth graders have been partnering with the St. Louis Dairy Council for the Adopt-A-Cow Program, and we’re thrilled to share that one of our students’ artwork has been selected as a finalist for the People’s Choice Award in their Merry Dairy Christmas Card Contest!

Mrs. Fluegel and Mrs. Mescher’s third graders had a very special visit today! Students from WCHS’s Creative Writing class brought the books they wrote and joined our third graders, who created the illustrations, to read them together for the very first time. We are so proud of our students and so grateful for our collaboration with WCHS!
